Talks and Workshops
Book Talks
Book talks start with excerpts and anecdotes from Persuasive: 40 Lessons in Communicating for the Common Good. These can be customized by geography (Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Washington DC, Chicago). They can also be customized by topic area (journalism, political, labor and legislative campaigns, management best practices, child welfare, school reform and more). An opening 20-30 minute presentation is followed by either an interview or a discussion with multiple respondents who can react to the content and add to it based on their own expertise.
